The Globe in Newcastle is one of ten finalists in the Grassroots Venue category of the 2026 Music Week Awards. You can help The Globe to win by voting CLICK HERE TO VOTE. Please encourage your friends and followers on social media to vote for The Globe.
The Music Week Awards are the UK’s only music awards that recognise labels, publishing, live, A&R, radio, marketing and PR – all the parts of the industry that make music happen.
There is a special category for Grassroots Venues called Spirit of the Scene. This is the only category that includes a public vote. Many of the artists at the top of the UK music industry started out in small venues like The Globe.
Voting closes at 5pm on 10 March.
Winners will be announced at a gala event in London on 7 May.
