LIVE MUSIC, GOOD BEER, GREAT VIBES
Community-owned and committed to music
The Globe is the first bar and music venue in the UK to be owned by a cooperative committed to music. Cooperative ownership ensures that The Globe will continue to be a place where people can enjoy live music in a relaxed environment and where musicians can share and develop their skills.
Children and young people under 16 years old may attend events accompanied by an adult (age over 18). They are not allowed to enter the premises after 9pm and they must leave the premises by midnight. Under 16s are not allowed to purchase soft drinks, but they may consume soft drinks bought for them by their accompanying adult.
16 and 17 year olds are allowed to attend events unaccompanied by an adult and they may purchase soft drinks. They must leave the premises by midnight.
The Globe is owned by Pink Lane Jazz Co-op Ltd, trading as Jazz.Coop. It was bought in 2014 following a successful community share issue. Over 225 people have bought shares and become members of the cooperative, and more are welcome to join.
