Join Alexia Gardner again for this, our fourth installment of, our Vocal Jazz Workshop with Alexia Gardner At The Globe!
We will be exploring the incredible voice of Ms Dianne Reeves. The mutli- grammy award winner who continues to tour the world today. I have had the privilege of seeing Diane Reeves in concert at The North Sea Jazz Festival in Holland; in Paris and then in New York. For our fifth Vocal Jazz Workshop, here at The Globe, lets explore the grace, the improvisation prowess, the unique style and phrasing of this incredible vocalist, Ms Dianne Reeves.
I would say, along with the legendary Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone and Sarah Vaughan, Ms Dianne Reeves, has made a great impact on my singing and on my performance. Let’s delve into that!
We warmly welcome back all our regular singers and encourage brand new ones too. This will be our last session before the Christmas break so come along and join in all the fun. It promises to be another relaxed and joyous afternoon!
About learning and participation at The Globe You will need to bring all the equipment you need including instruments, amplifiers (if required) and music stands.
