With support from Jake Major, ‘Newcastle’s Synthiest Songster’? Let Jake tell you a little about himself : “Hi, I’m Jake Major, 18 years old. I make electronic music here in Newcastle, using an array of synthesizers, the most exciting one being a keytar. My tunes are certainly inspired by the 1980s, but I’m not so much trying to replicate the sound of that era, I’m more so trying to channel the fantastic mindset and approach to composing/producing that made that decade so magical in terms of music, into the modern world to make something new and innovative. My songs are the past, the present, and the future, all at the same time.”
