A series of regular Ukulele events, showcasing different talent from the thriving North East community scene. Each month, a different local Ukulele band (and smaller offshoots of that band) will perform a set followed by an informal jam session led by the group. What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon?
So come along and bring your Uke or feel free to just listen, the choice is yours.
Bay Uke & Eleanor Mooney
We are a community ukulele group who meet on Tuesday evenings in the Crescent Club, Cullercoats. We play at various local events in the North Tyneside area and sometimes further afield, e.g. Ukulele Festivals. We are an informal group of ukulele/banjolele players of mixed ability who enjoy making music together. Our emphasis is firmly on fun and enjoyment. We warmly welcome beginners and new members.
The wonderful Eleanor Mooney will also be on hand to facilitate a small workshop and strumalong.
