Verónica Barroso, a charismatic, fun and passionate teacher originally from Cádiz (Spain), currently based in Cheltenham (UK), and specialised in sensual bachata. Veronica began her dance journey in 2010 by developing different styles such as Cuban Salsa, Crossbody Salsa, Sensual Bachata, Kizomba, Zouk, and Cha Cha Cha.
She then moved to Manchester (UK) in 2017, where she started her journey as a Sensual Bachata teacher teaching weekly classes at Bachatalicious.
She got the inspiration, dance knowledgement and skills from Juanma & Elena, members of the group Mzouk Spiral Dancers from Barcelona, at their Bembé Latino Dance Academy, located in Jerez De La Frontera, from the world famous Korke & Judith, the creators of Sensual Bachata and Daniel & Desirée.
As a versatile dancer, Veronica discovered a passion for Kizomba and developed her skills through private classes, workshops, masterclasses and bootcamps in various prestige Kizomba festivals across Europe.
She has taught in various festivals across the UK such as Newcastle Salsa congress, Hot Hot Hot Manchester, Salsa Northwest UK Congress.
Known for her warm, friendly, enthusiastic and encouraging personality, which also comes through in her dancing and teaching, Veronica knows how to bring people together and make them feel comfortable while learning and enjoying themselves at the same time

Edu Costa, a passionate, energetic, and fun dancer, choreographer, and teacher with a unique sense of musicality and feeling for dance. Currently based in Cheltenham, UK, he is originally from Angola, where he started his journey in Kizomba, but grew up in Portugal. He moved to the UK in 2014 where he has been teaching multiple genres of dance now since 2017 such as Kizomba, Semba, Urban Kiz and Afrohouse. He has a substantial Hip Hop background, being part of various Hip Hop groups for 5 years with which he performed and competed on a national level. Besides Hip Hop, Contemporary and Jazz are also in his repertoire.
Known for his talent in bringing people together with his incredible energy, sense of humour and ability to make people smile, Edu used to be part of the SV Promotions team, currently known as Ginga Boo UK and led by Sonny Varela, where he taught on a weekly basis and jumpstarted his career in teaching. He also taught at the first ever Great Britain Urban Kiz Competition in the UK in 2017.
Later he became part of the London based DSantosUK team, currently known as Rhythm and Vibes Dance Company led by Richard Voogt, were he taught weekly for their well-attended Monday Kizomba Nights, Wednesday Kizomba Nights and was also a key member for their famous Monthly Kizomba Party.
As a UK and International dance teacher, Edu has taught at several festivals and events across the UK and Europe including Aberdeen Afrolatin Festival (Scotland), Kiss Festival (Sweden), One Dance Latin Festival (London), Ginga Boo Kizz Festival (Milton Keynes, UK), Oslo Kizomba Festival (Norway), Stavanger Urban Kiz Bootcamp Weekender (Norway) and All Stars Festival (Hungary). His classes are well known for guaranteed fun, creative routines, good vibes all the way through and his energy, passion and warm sense of humour come through in all his dancing and teaching.
Together, Verónica and Edu have started their own dance school in 2024, Dibanza Kiz School, were they teach weekly classes in Kizomba, Semba, Sensual Bachata and Urban Kiz at “Baila Kizomba Tuesdays” and “Meneo SBK Thursdays” and also have their well attended monthly party “Mó Kamba Night”.
