Bio:

Bruno Matos, originally from Portugal and currently based in Glasgow is a prominent figure in the North’s dance scene, having conducted regular classes, workshops, and bootcamps in cities like Manchester, Leeds, Huddersfield, Lincoln,Hull and Glasgow.

Introduced to Kizomba at a young age by his Angolan father, Bruno immersed himself in the dance world. After completing his teacher training course and working alongside major reputable names such as Lucia Nogueira, Adda Dociu, Rico Suave, Brendan Ncube, he is passionately sharing his love for Kizomba, Semba, and Tarraxinha, teaching from beginner to advanced levels across Europe.

Featured on Portugal’s national TV channel “RTP Africa” in 2017, dancing Semba with his mentor Lucia Nogueira & having performed his own show with Iulia Nazarin in 2019 as well as contributing his skills as part of the Ricadda professional team by Rico Suave & Adda Dociu, Bruno further established his mark in the world of dance. As the organizer and founder of Real Feel Dance Festival & Real Feel Dance Events, he is deeply involved in various dance projects.

In 2019, he showcased his talent on a global stage, securing 1st place in the UK and 5th worldwide in the Olympiads of Kizomba qualifier, a testament to his improvisational prowess.

Inspired to continue sharing his passion, while his dynamic and technique-focused classes have gained recognition, Bruno is now taking bookings to teach at weekly events, festivals, and congresses, spreading the joy of Kizomba and his unique dance style.

By taking part in this events you grant the event organisers full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming for publicity or other purposes to help promote Kizomba Mangole Party events.
