Olly Styles returns to The Globe with his band The Experience for a night of energy and celebration. Expect the usual high octane energy and authentic storytelling Styles has become known for. Drawing on inspiration from the tenor sax titans Joshua Redman, Sonny Rollins, Chris Potter and Bob Reynolds, Styles has fused together the unstoppable energy of improvised music with the beautiful narratives of storytellers from the likes of Bob Dylan to John Mayer to Ernest Hemingway.
Backed by his band of up-and-coming musicians of the North East jazz scene featuring, Jacob Egglestone on guitar, Emma Tomlinson on keys, George Griffith on bass, Jack Littlewood behind the drums and guest vocalist Jenny Baker, The Olly Styles Experience is helping to bring in the new wave of contemporary jazz.

They must leave the premises by midnight.
