Feb 14- Brindle’s Manse

Brindle’s Manse are based in Newcastle and Northumberland.  They do original jangly guitar pop. Influences range from classic 60s and 70s bands (Beatles, Byrds, Velvet Underground, Bowie) to the first waves of Punk and Post Punk (Television, Patti Smith, Wire, The Fall, Joy Division, Gang of Four) and all that followed in the 90s beyond.  The gene pool is the C86 movement meets CBGBs, with the likes of Chic, Sergio Leone and Dick Dale chucked in for good measure.  Something for almost everyone, in fact

The band released their first EP late last year – available on Bandcamp and Spotify and other streaming outlets – which was reviewed by “The Crack” (“…[the band] do a fine line in guitar pop that straddle all the good stuff from the 60s-90s….a lovely slice of new-wavey post punk…”).  Look out for further releases and their forthcoming album.

Unreserved seating.  Names of ticket holders will be on the door.  We do not send out physical tickets.

AGE RESTRICTIONS
Children and young people under 16 years old may attend events accompanied by an adult (age over 18). They are not allowed to enter the premises after 9pm and they must leave the premises by midnight. Under 16s are not allowed to purchase soft drinks, but they may consume soft drinks bought for them by their accompanying adult.
16 and 17 year olds are allowed to attend events unaccompanied by an adult and they may purchase soft drinks. They must leave the premises by midnight.
