Greg Welburn-Kelly is a multi-instrumental singer-songwriter from Newcastle upon Tyne, now residing in North Yorkshire. He is set to release his debut album, ‘Infinity To One,’ later this year (Autumn 2026) on which he fuses live guitar, keys and percussion loops into his own unique genre blend of folk, rock and indie.
His first single, ‘Dose of Happiness,’, draws inspiration from his love of walks in nature, birdsong and the dawn chorus (which is sampled at the start of the track)evoking the uplifting feelings that accompany the arrival of spring.
He accompanies his music with warm, heartfelt lyrics that evoke the peace and love vibes reminiscent of songwriters and bands from the 60s and 70s. Influenced by artists such as George Harrison and Cat Stevens, his work captures the spiritual messages found in classics from that era, Greg blends these uplifting vibes with the sounds of bands who inspired him growing up in the early 00s like Radiohead, Elbow and early Coldplay.
Simon Taylor is a singer-songwriter from Newcastle upon Tyne whose music combines elements of rock, pop and Latin with influences ranging from Leonard Cohen to Serge Gainsbourg. Simon began his performing career in 2011 with his Latin/ funk/ jazz 5-piece Simon Taylor & The Sundowners. They performed at the Mouth Of The Tyne & VAMOS Festivals plus the Boiler Shop in Newcastle on three occasions and Simon’s music has featured regularly on BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio. Following a headline gig at the O2 AcademyNewcastle in 2018 Simon began to perform solo, releasing two e.ps during the pandemic that were entirely self-recorded. On hearing the second of these, Simon’s 2022 mental health-themed e.p “Survival” on Bandcamp, the British Library Sound Archive asked him to send over his back catalogue for storage in the archive. In 2021 Simon reached the Semi-Finals of the UK Songwriting Contest with his ballad “Bad Times Are Through”. He was accepted by Help Musicians for their Recording & Releasing Music funding scheme in 2023 and is constantly undertaking new recording projects while performing solo and working away on re-forming a band after a seven-year hiatus.
