Nov 5 - KMP Quintal

Description

ANOTHER THURSDAY, ANOTHER VERY SPECIAL NIGHT AT KMP!

This time, we’re bringing a little piece of Angola to Newcastle!

Join us at The Globe for our ANGOLA INDEPENDENCE CELEBRATION!

A night to celebrate Angolan culture, music, traditions and all those beautiful memories that music brings back.

BACK TO THE OLD SCHOOL!

Remember the days of Banda? Those unforgettable Kizomba classics, the Semba, the songs that made us dance at family parties and in the quintal? Well, we’re bringing some of those memories back!

And because we’re celebrating Angola, it won’t be just Kizomba! Expect a beautiful mix of Old School Kizomba, Semba and other Angolan rhythms, with DJ Tó Correia taking us on a musical journey.

Whether you grew up with these sounds or you’re discovering them for the first time, you’re welcome to celebrate with us!

AFRICAN THEME — Feel free to wear your African prints, colours or something inspired by Angola!
