Internationally-acclaimed artists Robert Manasse (flute) and Katie Tertell (cello) join forces for a poignant hour of flute and cello works by J.S. Bach, Mozart, Villa-Lobos and more. The pair have collaborated together since 2014 when they first met at the St. Endellion Festival in Cornwall. Noted for their sensitivity and thoughtful approach, the duo brings authenticity and depth to a vast range of repertoire.
Robert performs with ensembles like the English Chamber Orchestra, Academy of St Martin in the Fields, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Sinfonietta, English and Welsh National Operas, Britten Sinfonia, Irish Chamber Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, and London Mozart Players. Chamber music includes work with Ensemble 360, the Albion Ensemble, Chroma, the Galliard Ensemble, Jane Manning’s ‘Minstrels’, and the Ellipsis trio. Robert is a member of the New London Chamber Ensemble, and gives classes at the Royal College and Royal Academy of Music, the Welsh College and Guildhall School of Music and Drama and at Dartington.
A former member of the RTE National Symphony Orchestra (Ireland), Katie enjoys performing chamber music in festivals and series around the UK, Ireland, Germany and the USA. She is a recipient of an Exceptional Talent visa awarded by the Arts Council and works with some of Europe’s leading chamber and symphony orchestras, as well as exploring many other creative projects.

AT THE GLOBE (when permitted) There are a limited number of tickets available for people to be at the gig in the venue. These must be bought in advance. No tickets will be available on the door. Ticket holders will be allocated a table according to the number of people in their group. After you buy tickets you will be sent an email containing a link to download a pdf file with information about our procedures to reduce the risk of spreading infection. This will confirm that you are on the guest list.
