Taking inspiration from the likes of Mac DeMarco, Liz Lawrence, The Big Moon, and Nilüfer Yanya, north-east based band Holiday in Tokyo blend lo-fi/neo soul guitars with indie-funk beats and a self-aware songwriting style. Their Debut EP, Las Yucas is Overgrown, touches on nostalgia addiction, small town attitudes and the struggles of a quarter-life crisis.
Wax-Tree-Cast are a 3-piece Indie-pop band from Halifax, West Yorkshire. Since their formation in 2020 they’ve been biding their time through the lockdowns and have now truly hit the ground running with a series of gigs and festival slots around the country.

Silk Road identify themselves as ‘post punk/ post rock with questionable jazz influence’. With it still being early days, were excited to see and hear the band in a live setting at this gig!
