A series of regular Ukulele events, showcasing different talent from the thriving North East community scene. Each month, a different local Ukulele band (and smaller offshoots of that band) will perform a set followed by an informal jam session led by the group. What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon?
So come along and bring your Uke or feel free to just listen, the choice is yours.

George has, for many years, graced the live music scene delighting audiences with his quirky sense of humour, memorable vocals, guitar, cittern and ukulele. Christine is involved with the local folk music scene playing banjo, bass and ukulele. The Dam Jammers
The Dam Jammers are a ukelele band formed in 2014. They are a friendly community based group supplemented by keyboards, bass guitar, whistle harmonica, washboard and kazoo.
They play a wide range of songs and as well as playing for fun provide entertainment for a number of organisations including old people’s homes, local charities, children’s and South Tyneside events.
We play at the Customs House, South Shields on a Thursday morning from about 10.45 am and new members are always welcome.
Nicky Johnson
An adept songwriter with a wonderful penchant for quirky lyrics, Nicky Johnson is not to be missed.
