Live Band Karaoke hosted by Silk Road in support of St Benedict’s Hospice.
From Silk Road’s social media:
“On the 12th of October Silk Road will be back in the saddle once again for a night of live band karaoke at @the_globe_newcastle once again in support of @stbenedictshospice . If you have a song you want to play DM us and we will learn it for the night, as usual there will be a sign up sheet at the door with a list of the songs being played.
After the event was banned for a disastrous cover of Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ Can’t Stop at the last karaoke night, the future looked bleak. However, the recent change in government has thrown out this ban – bass player Aidan Mitchell had this to say ‘great news, I love AC/DC and can’t wait to play their music again.’ “
