Boris McCutcheon and Bard Edrington V met in the winter of 2017 while pruning fruit trees together. Both artists had solo careers & they produced an album together, inspired by old-time mountain music, stories of the founding of the early American West with their own political stance. They added Sarah Ferrell on upright bass and vocals.
