The Globe presents an evening of gorgeous vocal harmonies, both acapella and accompanied, featuring Euphoria and The Caedmon Choir.
Free entry
Euphoria
Euphoria bring their four-part vocal harmonies and multiple instruments and apply them to traditional and contemporary songs from both sides of the Atlantic. Expect to hear soaring duets and roaring four-part choruses, tender solos and jaunty instrumental breaks.
They are: Jennie Hillyard – vocals, concertina; Sheila Trow – vocals, guitar; Richard Rootham – vocals, guitar, mandolin, octave mandolin; Vince Taylor – vocals, double bass.
Caedmon Choir
Formed in 1987 and led by musical director Eleanor Mooney since 2007, Caedmon Choir are unaccompanied and sing a wide range of music, including folk, world music, traditional and contemporary songs, both local and further afield. There’s nothing quite like a big acapella song, now, is there?
