Newcastle’s newest, and first, Trombone ensemble play their debut gig at
the Globe. Inspired by Jennifer Wharton’s *Bonegasm* ensemble, Conor Emery
assembles a group of Newcastle’s finest trombone players to perform music
from trombone greats such as J.J Johnson, Kai Winding, Wycliffe Gordon and
more. Accompanied by a stellar rhythm section, they will attempt to
convince the audience that the trombone is truly the greatest instrument of
