Luba and Sasha met as students at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, ever since they have become an inseparable duo performing together from baroque style to world premieres, in venues ranging from private house concerts to world class concert halls.

Ruth Schontal – Suite for violin and cello
Maurice Ravel – Sonata for violin and cello
Alexandra Raikhlina is a Moscow born young and exciting violinist with a passion for chamber music, who has studied at the Yehudi Menuhin School Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
She is a multi-award winning soloist and chamber musician and has performed extensively internationally and in the UK. She is sub-principal first violin with the Royal Northern Sinfonia and is a frequent guest with City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Britten Sinfonia, Manchester Camerata, Welsh National Opera, Aurora, Orchestre Les Dissonances and Brussels Philharmonic. Alexandra is the Artistic Director of Brundibár Arts Festival based in Newcastle and Gateshead.
Liubov Ulybysheva is a young Russian/British cellist who enjoys a versatile career as a soloist and chamber musician alongside teaching cello and chamber music. She studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Oleg Kogan and the Royal Academy of Music with Felix Schmidt, winning the Mir Carnegie Prize for Cello upon graduating. She is a recipient of many prestigious awards and has performed across the UK and abroad and has performed live on BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio Ulster and Classic FM.

AT THE GLOBE (when permitted) There are a limited number of tickets available for people to be at the gig in the venue. These must be bought in advance. No tickets will be available on the door. Ticket holders will be allocated a table according to the number of people in their group. After you buy tickets you will be sent an email containing a link to download a pdf file with information about our procedures to reduce the risk of spreading infection. This will confirm that you are on the guest list.
