Playing a range of bluesy grooves with a bit of added swing and old school R&B vibe, the band emerged originally as the Surf Cafe ‘house band’ and evolved through various line ups into 45 Spread, the age difference between its oldest and youngest members, Phil & Jack. They’ve become a well-established and popular north east outfit, playing at venues such as Billy Bootleggers.
