Bradley Creswick presents: Dances and Visions
We are delighted to present the second of two unique intimate classical concerts arranged by Bradley Creswick.
The theme of tonight’s concert is Dances and Visions and it features Bradley Creswick on violin and Roberto Carrillo-Garcia on guitar, with David Murray on piano. The programme includes Tangos by Piazzolla, Hungarian rhythms of Bartok, Hubay and more.
Since joining Royal Northern Sinfonia in 1984, Bradley Creswick has become a firm favourite with audiences, bringing a unique energy, warmth and animation to performances. He stepped down from his role as leader of the orchestra in its 60th anniversary year in 2019.
Born in Tenerife multi-talented Roberto Carrillo-Garcia graduated in guitar, double bass and composition eventually becoming the Halle orchestra s principal bass for many years. He now travels all over the world teaching and performing with many prestigious groups and ensembles.
David Murray is one of the most acclaimed pianists in the North East and is constant demand as a soloist, accompanist and chamber music partner. He is also well known as a choral trainer and conductor, and is permanent conductor of Bishopwearmouth Choral Society and Hexham Abbey Festival Chorus.
